Federal Government Digital Training Program 2021

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, is Organizing a Fully Paid, Intensive Digital Training for eligible Nigerian Youths to learn several global digital roles which include:

  • Business Process Outsourcing skills
  • Software and Coding skills
  • Animation/Graphics skills, and
  • Internet of Things/IT Hardware skills.

According to the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, these highly practical skill-sets will develop their abilities to handle jobs which have a need for the outsourcing of specific digital services.

This program is designed to support 1,600 youths successfully screened from across the six geopolitical zones including Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory through fully paid in-person and virtual training sessions.

Eligibility

Participants must be Nigerian citizens between the ages of 18 to 35 years.

  • Must possess a valid government-issued means of identification
  • Be willing to undertake some travel (for practical sessions) if selected
  • Minimum level of education required is O’Level (WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB)

  3. Principles of  Animation
  4. Understanding Body Mechanics and Pantomiming
  5. 3D Modeling and Animations
  6. Entrepreneurship

Business Process Outsourcing

  1. Overview Business Process Outsourcing Opportunities Globally
  2. Data Entry / Imaging
  3. Customer Service, Support, and Sales
  4. Website SEO and Content Generation
  5. Setting up a Call Center 
  6. Review (Focus Driven based on Service Areas Chosen by Participants)

IoT/Hardware Skills

  1. Introduction to Internet of Things
  2. Internet Technology & Architecture of IoT
  3. Networking Essentials
  4. Networking Devices
  5. Common Elements of IoT
  6. Networking and Connectivity medium
